Located in a mixed commercial and residential area, Genesis Place is the premier Interdependent Living Solutions Center facility. Genesis Place is a 16-bed residence that provides private and semi-private shared living. Residents enjoy the benefits of three home cooked meals, daily house keeping, laundry, and 24-hour house monitoring. Genesis Place provides supportive housing services including comprehensive case management, a medication reminder program, and assistance with daily living activities, and transportation arrangements. There are also a variety of recreational and social activities that empower senior residents to reclaim and maintain control of their lives in family atmosphere that is safe and tranquil.
Peer companionship helps to eliminate feelings of loneliness and isolation; new friendships and interest are developed while standing relationships are maintained. Among the activities offered to residents are shopping trips, walks, restaurant dining and bible study. New opportunities are currently being created to offer basic computer training, expression through art, and cultural outings. In this pleasant environment, a healthier lifestyle is maintained thus decreasing medical problems and expenses. As a result the total quality of life for our residents is enriched and improved.

Genesis Place admission is open to persons 55 and older with low-income who have moderate disability which would prevent living totally independently. Residents most be continent and capable of ambulating safely through the two floor facility and not require skilled medical care on a continuous basis.
